As part of the GP contract 2018, an opportunity has arisen for a Health care support worker to join our expanding and evolving team in the delivery of the community care and treatment service for the South locality. This is a developing service with the main remit being the provision of phlebotomy although there will be expansion within the service in due course.
The successful post holder would possess the necessary communication and IT skills to work autonomously although they will be supported by a registered practitioner to develop the relevant skills and competencies. There is an expectation that post holders will travel across the locality covering Kinross, Bridge of Earn, Crieff and Auchterarder.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
Written approval must be sought from your line manager prior to applying for a secondment. You will be required to bring this if shortlisted for interview.
