We are recruiting forHealthcare Support Worker across Level Cwho wish to join #TeamIOWNHS. Successful applicants to these posts will work across both wards Alverstone (elective orthopaedic) and Luccombe Ward (trauma and emergency surgical patients). As a valuable member of the ward teams you will need to have drive, an enquiring mind, willingness to learn, compassion and patience and a real commitment to helping us strive to achieve the best possible care for our service users. Good communication and organisational skills are essential. You should also have a positive attitude to change and be flexible. Assist the patient in all activities of daily living, with both direct and indirect supervision as delegated by a registered nurse. Maintain patient comfort, dignity and privacy at all times. Prepare patients drinks, serve meals, and provide assistance as required. Assist in the emergency resuscitation of patients, following appropriate training. Escort patients to other areas and departments as per Trust escort protocol. Maintain high standards of care in an environment which promotes equality and sensitivity for all individuals.
