JOB DESCRIPTION

Title: Healthcare Assistant Hospice

Salary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale, aligned with AFC BAND 2 £21,814-£ 23,820 pro rata per annum + Enhancement depending on candidate experience.

Hours/Contract: 37.5 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

Based: Edinburgh Hospice

Closing date: 19th June 2023

Interview date: 27th June 2023

Providing assistance to palliative patients with complex symptoms, within a Hospice inpatient unit

What we are looking for:

• Enthusiastic person with experience of working with people living with life limiting illness
• A passion for delivering person centred care and helping patients achieve what is most important to them
• Someone that works well as part of a team, but also shows initiative
• Good communication skills
• An understanding of palliative care and what a Hospice provides
