A part time position for a healthcare support worker band 2 has become available supporting ENT specialist nurses in clinics and the ENT surgical team in the community.
****These outreach clinics will be held in Cheylesmore, Coventry.Coventry CV3 5PZ****
Under supervision , will support ENT trained staff, consultants, Dr's in providing optimum patient care in a clinic environment , ensuring adherence to trust policy

1.Organise own daily workload e.g. use and cleaning of identified medical and non-medical equipment (beds, hoists etc).
1. Assist with personal patient care e.g. bed-bathing, feeding, toileting, mobilising, bed-making, dealing with incontinence, catheter care.
1. Frequent processing of patient property and valuables, ensuring accurate documentation where appropriate
1. Support less experienced members of staff in their orientation to the ward and role
1. Utilise IT systems to secure accurate and timely patient data
1. Support the team in expected clinical events requiring high but unpredictable levels of physical effort according to patient dependency/clinical need
1. Support staff and patients exposed to difficult situations arising in the clinical area e.g after receipt of bad news or following an unexpected event
