Job Description
As a Healthcare Cleaning Manager, you will provide a high quality domestic service, to patients, staff and visitors, maintaining a clean and safe environment, in an efficient and safe manner in accordance with the specification.
These duties may be carried out, both in patient, and non-patient environments.
You will also provide direction, guidance and support to ensure the necessary duties are carried out to maintain a clean and hygienic environment within the hospital and associated areas.
Key Responsibilities
- If driving duties are required these must be in accordance with on-site restrictions, speed and statutory regulations. Ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and safe before, during and after use, and complete relevant documentation within the prescribed frequencies.
- Complete accurate records for company systems including, sickness procedures, quality monitoring, training and staff performance monitoring.
- Liaise with operative staff under your control by way of discussions and regular team meetings. i.e. Performance Reviews, Job Chats, Return to Work discussions and accident and other investigations.
- Effectively supervise, train, motivate, discipline, and ensure the safety, and general welfare of staff under your control in accordance with the necessary policies, procedures including the Training Plan.
- Organise and allocate staff under your control to carry out the cleaning and maintenance of all hygiene standards within a designated area. Ensure that the work schedule and quality standards are adhered to in line with the specification.
