Priory Mildmay Oaks are recruiting for Healthcare Assistants to join their team.

We are looking to recruit personable, flexible and motivated Health Care Assistants to support our qualified staff with the delivery of care to our patients. You will be involved in the personal care and meeting the psychological needs of a diverse group of service users with varying degrees of mental and physical issues. You will be caring and attentive with the skills to build strong and trusting relationships with people. It is also important that you work well in a team as you will work alongside qualified nurses and staff from other professions.

Night shifts - 7:30pm to 8am
About Mildmay Oaks
Mildmay Oaks is a low secure and locked rehabilitation service for men and women with learning disabilities and autistic spectrum disorders. Our full care pathway includes the following facilities:
- Low secure, learning disability (18 male beds)
- Locked rehabilitation, learning disability (13 male beds and 8 female beds)
Mildmay Oaks aims to meet the needs of people with learning disabilities and encourage them to achieve their potential of safe living in the least restrictive environment. Rehabilitation is led by our specialist and highly experienced clinical team which is comprised of:
- Psychology
- Psychiatry
- Occupational therapy
- Nursing
- Art therapy
- Social work
They offer specialist clinical treatment programmes which include one-to-one sessions when group therapy is not appropriate for clinical reasons. The clinical programmes are informed by patient needs and are reviewed for individual and group therapies on a 12-week basis.
Mildmay Oaks aims to support patients in a range of community based activities as part of a full treatment programme and to prepare them in moving through their discharge pathway towards a community based placement.
Due to limits on sponsorship allocations we are not currently in a position to offer sponsorship to new candidates for these roles, this remains under review.
