Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Days: Monday to Sunday (covering up to 5 days per week)
Hours: 40 hours per week (including travel time). Approx. 10+ hour shift.
Locations include Covering Midlands Clinics, this will include Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent, Warwickshire & Nottinghamshire (Full Driving licence and access to a car on a permanent basis required)
Salary: £22,000 + £500 additional per discipline + 0.45 per mile

Role & Responsibilities
For all of the roles and responsibilities below no experience is necessary training will be provided.
As a Healthcare Assistant you will:
Set up the up-consultation rooms with correct stock for the clinic type.- Ensure infection control measures (hand sanitising) are in place when patients attend their appointment.
- Complete all Covid-19 screening questions and any other relevant ID checks.
- Escort patient to the onsite clinician for further consultation / additional testing.
- Dispose of any clinical waste as per sites policies.
- Ensure all reports are completed along with outcomes and provide any additional support related to admin.
- General housekeeping of rooms used.
- Return equipment to head office to be archived at the end of the day.
** Please note that as we run a 7-day service you will be required to work 5 out of 7 days. Shift patterns are generally between 07:00/ 07:30 - 17:30/18:00. Clinic locations are across the Midlands but for training purposes you may be asked to travel further. **
Training and Development
Once you have completed 6-month employment, you have the opportunity to progress and develop your career with HealthHarmonie, this includes training to become a Level 3 HCA, once fully competent you will gain a salary increase of up to £22,000 per year with an extra £500 per additional discipline learnt.
You will be enrolled on our 2-week comprehensive training course from day 1 of your employment, which will equip you with all the skills and knowledge you require to fulfil your duties as a Healthcare Assistant.

About you

This means that your role will be subject to a successful disclosure at an appropriate level from Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and the provision of your right to work documentation at the interview stage.
Your training will involve a corporate induction on your first day and then shadowing an experienced team member, which will provide you with the skills and knowledge to be successful in the role. This training is a vital part to the start of your career with us, you will need to commit to full attendance during this time.
