Job description
We are 62 bedded ward that specialises in the care of older adults with medical illnesses as well as complex frailty conditions. We also provide care to patients who are at the end of their lives. Many of our patients may also have dementia and / or delirium for which they need compassionate and safe care. Our focus is on providing the highest level of quality care and safe discharge for our patients.
We are a supportive and friendly multi-disciplinary team that includes registered nurses, health care assistants, medical and therapies staff and the Integrated Discharge Team. We also have a dedicated team of Clinical Practice Facilitators who support our nurses and health care assistants with their professional development.
- You will gain excellent clinical experience working alongside our nurses and MDT
- We will offer you a structured induction program during which you will learn more about the trust and your role.
- There is scope for health care assistants to develop their career on T10, and health care assistants can apply for the Trainee Nurse Associate or the Registered Nurse Apprenticeship programmes if they can demonstrate adherence to Trust Values and are working well within their current job role.
