This is an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our dedicated team at the Marie Curie in Edinburgh Hospice.
Title: Healthcare Assistant Hospice
Salary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale, aligned with AFC BAND 2 £21,814-£ 23,820 pro rata per annum + Enhancement depending on candidate experience.
Hours/Contract: 37.5 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Based: Edinburgh Hospice

Providing assistance to palliative patients with complex symptoms, within a Hospice inpatient unit
What we are looking for:
- Enthusiastic person with experience of working with people living with life limiting illness
- A passion for delivering person centred care and helping patients achieve what is most important to them
- Someone that works well as part of a team, but also shows initiative
- Good communication skills
- An understanding of palliative care and what a Hospice provides

88% x your basic salary per hour paid for Sundays and Public Bank Holidays
44% x your basic salary per hour paid for Saturdays & night duty (8pm to 6am)
