Job description
The Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) is a busy department in the Friarage Hospital where we see patient from birth onwards and deliver care to minor illness and minor injuries. We require a motivated healthcare assistant to join our developing vibrant department of Nurse Practitioners, GP's HCA's and Receptionists.
We are seeking a motivated Healthcare Assistant (HCA) who can work collaboratively with the Nurse Practitioners, GP's and wider multi disciplinary team. The ability to demonstrate a range of nursing skills to meet the needs of the patient in a safe, caring environment of the UTC that promotes dignity, privacy and respect. The HCA will support the Clinical team to ensure patient flow and patient safety and safe discharge.
We will require the successful candidate to work days, night’s weekends and bank holidays on a rotational basis.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively within the UTC and the wider Multi disciplinary team.
