We are looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join our Outstanding Outpatient Department Team at Homerton. We were rated outstanding by CQC in 2020 and are proud of the standards we maintain across our services.
Our Outpatient Department team consists of a strong nursing and clinical ethos around patient centered care, safety and teamwork.
You will be a motivated, enthusiastic individual who will have the opportunity to become part of a supportive and friendly team who focus on delivering high quality individual care in an exciting, but demanding environment.
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work using your own initiative as well as working as part of a team.
You should have experience of caring for others in a health or social work capacity, and possess good verbal and written communication skills. An NVQ qualification is desirable (however a willingness to undertake further study is essential).
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week

You will assist with patient hygiene needs, toileting, nutritional intake, assisting patients with their mobility and physical comfort and monitoring and recording vital signs.
You will work closely with the doctors to support the clinic which will require of you set up and clear at the end of clinics. You will support the team to provide a high standard of nursing care and customer focus to improve the patient experience.
