An exciting opportunity has arisen within Ward 1 – Emergency Admission Unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Gateshead, housed within a state-of-the-art Emergency Care Centre (ECC) which was purpose built in 2015. The ECC has brought cutting edge healthcare to Gateshead, where we pride ourselves on innovative ways of providing emergency care to patients.
We are looking for committed individuals who demonstrate a caring and compassionate attitude, as well as excellent communication and organisation skills. The successful candidate will provide excellent standards of patient care, working well within the wider team to deliver this.
There is an expectation that if appointed, the post holder should be willing to work flexibly to meet the service needs of our patients, including weekends, evenings, and nights. Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust offers Family Friendly working and will consider flexible working. Job share applicants are also encouraged to apply.
Previous experience in healthcare is desired but not essential, as training will be provided.
