Band 3 HCA at HMP Pentonville for Inpatient Unit
This is a new and exciting opportunity for a Healthcare assistant with at least 12 months experience in nursing / care work to be an integral part of our multi-disciplinary mental health team at HMP Pentonville on the Inpatient Unit.
HMP Pentonville is a busy local remand category B prison within north London with a high turnover and an operational capacity of 1300 spaces. We have a 22 bedded inpatient unit which cares for men with both physical and psychological ill health and.
You will benefit from accessing both the Prison Healthcare Services and Beh MH Trust training programme for your CPD.

The post holder will be working closely with Nursing Staff and Occupational Therapist in providing excellent care to patients.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment with often complex and vulnerable service users.
The successful applicant will need to be flexible in approach and confident in their practice.
The successful applicant will be required to be expected to cover both day and night shifts.
