We have recently gained a new package of care bringing many fresh and exciting opportunities to join our team in Peterborough.

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Meet our service user

Our service user is a gentleman in his 60’s who lives in Peterborough with his wife and requires support throughout the day and night.

Our ideal candidate will be pet friendly as he does have 2 pet dogs.

Your role will be to support with all daily tasks including personal care, moving, and handling and attending to his clinical care requirements when required.

As well as supporting with his care needs you will be there to manage his medication, liaise with health professionals on his behalf, act appropriately to any concerns identified and support with his social and leisure activities.

Our service user is non-verbal however utilises communication aids and can mouth words to express his thoughts and desires. Patience and understanding are key qualities for this role.

Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team

Essential Experience Required

• 3 months previous care experience
• Personal Care
• Moving and Handling
• Medication Administration

Desirable Experience

• PEG Feeding
• Tracheostomy Care
• Oral Suctioning

We have the following shifts available;

• Part time available 2-3 shifts per week
• Days and Nights
• Monday – Friday 3:00pm-10:00pm
• Weekends- 9.00am-10:00pm
• Nights 10:00pm – 9.00am

Weekdays: £14.00 per hour (£98.00 approx. per 7-hour shift)

Weeknights £14.50 per hour (£159.50. approx. per 11-hour shift)

Weekends £15.00 per hour (£195.approx per 13-hour shift)

Bank Holidays £15.50 per hour (£201.50.approx per 13 hour shift)
