Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support a gentleman with complex care needs.
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.
Our service user is a gentleman in his 40’s who lives with his family in Leicester and requires care on a 2:1 basis.
He enjoys spending time on his computer and accessing the community, such as going to the theatre and watching football matches, especially Liverpool. Socialising is important to him, and he loves spending time with friends who often pop round to visit.
You will be required to support with his personal care, clinical care needs, and assist with moving, handling, and regular repositioning. You will also be required to support with social interaction, accessing the community and joining in with his hobbies and interests.
Please note, drivers are preferred however, this is not essential.
Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
Essential Experience Required
- 3 months previous care experience
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
- Medication Administration
Desirable Experience
- UK Driving Licence
- Oxygen Administration
- Diabetes management
- Cough Assist
- Nebuliser therapy
We have the following shifts available;
- Full Time /Part Time
- Days - 9am - 9pm
- Nights- 9pm-9am - Sleep ins
- We are currently looking for staff to ideally cover both days and nights
Take a look at our pay rates
Weekdays : £11.50 per hour (£138 approx per shift)
Weeknights : £12.00 per hour(£144 approx per shift)
Saturday £12.50 per hour(£150 approx per shift)
Sunday £13.00 per hour (£156 approx per shift)
Bank Holiday £15.00 per hour(£80 approx per shift)
Sleep In rates
Weekday Sleep 9pm-9am (£127.50 approx per shift)
Saturday Sleep 9pm-9am (£130 approx per shift)
Sunday Sleep 9pm-9am (£132.50 approx per shift)
