We are recruiting a new team in Derby and are looking for experienced Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers to deliver care for our service user with complex healthcare needs.

If you are an experienced Care Assistant or Support Worker who is compassionate and committed, enjoy delivering two to one care, this could be the perfect job role for you!

Our service user is a young man who is currently lives with his family in Derby

He loves to spend quality time with his family, listening to music and watching Disney plus on his iPad.

Lots of comfort and reassurance is needed to help our service user feel happy and content.

He is very facially expressive and is usually very smiley but will pull sad faces if unhappy or in pain. He especially loves to giggle to show he is happy.

Day shifts will consist of supporting him with his morning routine before traveling and assisting him within his educational setting, here you will be required to support his clinical, emotional, and social care needs.

His night routine will include supporting his personal care needs, clinical needs and ensuring he is comfortable and enjoys a restful night’s sleep.

Working with a regular service user will enable you to develop great relationships and you will find this a personally rewarding care role where you can make a real difference, building on your clinical skills and experience, whilst delivering exceptional care and support. This is more than just a job!

Essential Experience Required

  • 3 months of previous care experience
  • Medication Administration
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling

Desirable Experience

  • Gastrostomy (PEG)

We have the following shifts available;

  • Full Time & Part Time opportunities
  • Days 7am – 7pm
  • Nights 7pm – 7am

Take a look at our pay rates

  • Weekdays- £12:50ph (Approx. £150 per 12 hour shift)
  • Weeknights- £13.00ph (Approx. £156 per 12 hour shift)
  • Saturdays 24hrs- £13.00ph (Approx. £156 per 12 hour shift)
  • Sundays 24hrs- £14.00ph (Approx. £168 per 12 hour shift)
  • Bank holidays 24hrs- £16.50ph (Approx. £198 per 12 hour shift)
