Are you experienced in providing Complex Care to children and young people?
Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support a teenage girl on a 1:1 basis.
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one-to-one support, and can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.
Our service user is a happy teenage girl who is based in Acock’s Green and lives with Mom. She is currently requiring support during the night to assist her with her clinical care needs.
We are looking for a dedicated team to provide specialised care with her complex needs throughout the night. She will settle in bed around 7pm, your role will be to ensure a secure and comfortable environment and to handle various clinical care such as administering medications, personal care, repositioning, and clinical interventions.
Our team is to provide not just physical assistance but also emotional support. We believe in fostering meaningful connections, building trust, and promoting a sense of belonging for our young service user. We are looking for our caregivers to be friendly, compassionate, and genuinely passionate about making a positive difference in her life.
She loves all things colourful, glittery, and musical, enjoys exploring with her sensory toys and lights and being outside in the fresh air! She loves spending quality time with her mom and they enjoy visiting church together on a regular basis.
Our service user can make sounds and use facial expressions that accurately reflect her feelings, enabling others to understand her emotions more easily.
This is a fulfilling role that will give you job satisfaction by making a difference in our service user's everyday life.
Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team
Essential Experience Required
- 3 months previous care experience
- Medication Administration
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
Desirable Experience
- Oral Suctioning
- Gastrostomy Care (PEG Feeding)
- Seizure Management
- Regular Skincare / Pressure Area Management
We have the following shifts available;
- Part Time Nights
- 10pm- 7:30am
We also have the option of full time hours around Birmingham!

Weeknights: £13.00 Per hour (approx. £123.50 9.5 hour-shift Weekends: £13.00 per hour (Approx. £123.50 per 9.5 hour-shift) Bank holidays: £14.50 per hour (Approx. £137.75 per 9.5-hour-shift)
