Health Screening Assessment Doctor
We are actively recruiting for a number of newly funded career opportunities to conduct advanced health screening assessments in London.
We have a large range of patient centric advanced and comprehensive assessments, focused on preventative medicine, to pick up early detection of long term complications, in addition to lifestyle and wellbeing coaching. Its a truly rewarding role. Especially in today's climate of healthcare focus.
Our assessments receive fantastic patient feedback and our Doctors really enjoy the sheer scale of what we can assess for. Our referral pathways are also unique the UK. No other healthcare provider can match our advanced patient assessments and pathways for diagnostics, treatments, lifestyle, wellbeing, psychological range of support, coupled with the prompt access to specialist consultants and hospital care, through a dedicate patient navigation team in-house across the HCA group.
The role will involve providing health screening services to clients:
Review medical questionnaires prior to assessments
Health screening and health promotion medicals (including history, medical examination, well woman checks, allocated tests and venesection, taking bloods, cervical smears and ECG's)
Provide appropriate onward referrals as appropriate
Provide patient advice, follow ups and, where required, private prescription service
Advise patients on cost of prescriptions/dispensed medication if required
Ensure care in line with corporate client benefits, e.g. PMI
Ensure patient records and dates are maintained and updated accurately
Full training on the vast range of assessment we do, will be offered.
Location; Central London Private Patient Practices
Monday to Friday; Office Hours
Employed contracts; 6 sessions, 8 sessions and 10 sessions.
Salary; £10.5k per session per annum (£9.5k basic plus £1,000 Health Screening Allowance)

Ongoing development: We are generously supportive with ongoing training and development. 5 Days paid study days per year, funded courses. We also have a clear pathway of career progression into Management.
Joining Training; 12 week orientation and training programme, (based at New Broad Street Practice).
HCA Primary Care has been established for 30 years, and you will be joining a team of over 100 employed GPs, Occupational Health and Health Screening Doctors.
You will love a healthy work life balance, you will start and finish on time as our appointments are structured so well in advance. Our appointment times range from 30 mins to 90 minutes depending on the level of health screen. You also have built in protected admin time for your health screen reports.
As a health screening doctor you can make a real difference to your patients, both now and in the future. You are supported by additional clinical professionals to support you with health screening too.
What we look for as a Health Screening:
Current GMC registration
Core Medicine Trained Ideally MRCP Qualification, or GP Trained
Ideally Health Screening experience in private patient corporate healthcare.
Good working knowledge of IT systems and comfortable with cloud-based technology
Care and empathy with a passion for delivering a patient-centred service.
If you do not have advanced health screening experience, training will be given.
