Due to expansion, our client in Howden near Goole is looking for a part-time health and safety officer to join the friendly team on Permanent Basis.
About the company
With an excellent reputation they are a leading player in the UK mushroom industry. They supply 300 tonnes of mushroom varieties per week to main UK retailers and to food service.
Working hours, 06:00am-18:00pm, 20 hours per week, over 7 day pattern.
Flexible on start/finish times within the shifts listed.
Pay: £30,000 Pro-Rata, £15 per hour depending on experience
Here is a little more information on the role...
- • Making sure theSenior team and Line Managers expert advice and guidance, coaching and developing their knowledge on H&S Policies,
- • Safe Operating Procedures and Risk Assessments.
- • Completing site audits are done to ensure all health and safety is being carried out correctly
- • Monthly assessments to make sure all health and safety compliance is adhered to.
The successful candidate will;
- • Hold a valid NEBOSH general certificate
- • Knowledge of health & safety policies
- • Previous experience in a similar Health & safety role
- • Good team player with an ability to communicate to all levels
- • Excellent English speaking and writing skills.
- • Good all round I.T skills
