- Support the H&S Lead in managing the day-to-day relationship between the H&S function and key leaders/stakeholders related to the Formula 1 race calendar.
- Work with the FIA, F1/F2/F3 teams and other key stakeholders on race related H&S issues where necessary
- Drive a positive H&S culture throughout the Formula 1 group, with a focus on race calendar related business units and functions.
- Work closely with the H&S Leads on new H&S projects and development of the safety function across F1 events.
- Ensure outstanding health and safety performance in the delivery of the Formula 1 race calendar.
- Manage the onsite Consultant Health & Safety Advisors, working with the Health and Safety Lead on planning deployment, managing service delivery and performance, monitoring quality of engagement and reporting, and ensuring that resources are fit for purpose.
- Provide competent health and safety advice to all relevant group departments and functions.
- Review both internal and third-party health & safety documentation where required to ensure the safe delivery of the Formula 1 events.
- Undertake H&S related risk assessments where required and drive implementation of necessary control measures. in conjunction with relevant business units, to ensure they are effective, efficient and support an assurance-based approach to H&S management.
- Develop, implement and monitor compliance against H&S related processes, procedures and ways of working.
- Arrange, participate, and lead relevant engagements and meetings as required to discuss, monitor and ensure effective communication sacross relevant health & safety matters.
- Ensure that all accidents and incidents are documented correctly, investigated promptly, and reported accurately in line with the relevant procedures.
- Ensure legal compliance with local requirements at race/event locations, as well as compliance with Formula 1 Group standards and policies.
- Act as a key contributor to the Formula 1 Group H&S Strategy; lead on the rollout of the strategy with Race Operations/Promotions Teams, Promoters, Events, and all other relevant operational stakeholders.
- Act as a key stakeholder in the H&S planning, management, monitoring and ultimate H&S performance for non-race events.
- Support Race Promoters and Circuits on the development of health and safety plans and the delivery of the Formula 1 Safety and Security Framework.
- Assist in the development of new systems to improve efficiency and streamline processes in the safety team and wider company.
- Complete all mandatory training within specified timelines.
- Comply with Formula 1 policies and code of conduct.
- Undertake any other duties within your competence and capabilities that the Health and Safety Leads or Head of Health & Safety and Facilities, may assign to you from time to time.
