Position: Health & Safety Manager
Location: Haywood - OL10
Salary: Up to £41,000 DOE
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time.
Shift pattern: Any 5 from 7. Covering AM and PM shifts.

We make promises to our customers, and we'll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include;
- Take responsibility for the full scope of HSE activities and carry out regular reviews.
- Ensure adequate Safety, Health and Environmental guidance is provided to the site.
- Control the input and retrieval of information to and from the companies H&S Safety software management system and carry out regular trend analysis.
- To create and maintain a short, medium and long term Health & Safety improvement plan and programme manage the implementation of Health & Safety initiatives across the business.
- To provide training and development in order to ensure risk assessments and safe systems of work are developed and maintained.
- To provide coaching to improve the quality of assessments and control measures.
- Ensuring accident investigations are completed in a timely manner and actions are implemented to prevent reoccurrence at the site.
- Provide Regular communication, reports on performance and issues to all stakeholders.

- Previous experience within a similar role, within an Operational/Logistics environment is essential.
- Must hold a NEBOSH certificate.
- Excellent communication skills – Verbal and written.
- ITRTB or equivalent would be beneficial.
- Experience of business continuity and incident management.
- Exceptional understanding of all relevant H&S Regulations applicable to warehouse environment.
- Keen eye to details to identify root causes and continuous improvement.
