The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Solihull Campus office for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to take responsibility for the Midlands Offices.
Reporting to the Business Services Partner and Office Leader. This is a key role in ensuring Arup fulfils its H&S obligations to its staff, visitors, and contractors, and maintains standards to ensure compliance with ISO 45001. This role is integral to the successful operation of the Midlands Campus office, housing approximately 900 staff members as well as our Nottingham office, housing approximately 100 staff members.
Relationships will be mainly with the Business Services Partner and Office Leader, but also work closely with the local HSEQ and Facilities Teams.
In this role you will ensure and assist in the delivery of the Health & Safety Management System (HSMS) and industry best practice in the office risk zone.
Occasional travel to Arup Nottingham Office to oversee their H&S
Is this role right for you?
We are looking for people who:
- Are experienced working in a Health and Safety role
- Have and understanding of facilities management (FM), RAMS and permits to work
- Qualified with a NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health and IOSH Managing Safely
- Have excellent IT and systems skills
