A HSE OFFICERis required for a brilliant opportunity, working for a fantastic manufacturer in Sheffield, supplying into a variety of highly regulated industries. They are looking to expand their team by hiring a health, safety and environmental advisor to provide guidance, investigate and report incidents. This is an absolutely amazing opportunity and my client is looking for a confident, motivated professional, who wants to drive success further, looking after the ever-growing workforce. This role has come about due to the growth and expansion of the company, and expansion of the HSE team. They offer a very competitive salary, with a package of benefits on top!
Responsibilities:
- Investigating health-related complaints and cases of ill health
- Carrying out risk assessments and site inspections
- Ensuring that equipment is installed correctly and safely
- Identifying potential hazards
- Determining ways of reducing risks
- Compiling statistics and writing reports
- Running health and safety meetings and training courses for employees
- Liaising with external health and safety authorities
- Keeping up to date and ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation.
Experience:
- Experience in manufacturing
- NEBOSH
- Experience in health, safety and environment
- Passionate about health safety
- A confident, motivated individual who is able to inspire, influence and implement processes
- Enjoys being amongst the shop floor and really wants to get stuck in, hands on.
