Applications are invited for two enthusiastic persons who are patient and customer focused, to join our Reception team at the NCA Community Diagnostic Centre as a Receptionist/Clerk. The centre opened in December 2022 at Salmon Fields in Royton.
You will be required to provide reception/clerical support within a very busy department, and you must be hard working and flexible. As the first point of contact for patients visiting the Centre, you will be friendly and approachable, ensuring that a positive patient experience is provided from arrival.
The roles are full time, 37.5 hours per week on a rolling rota which will include weekends. The Centre is open from 07:30 to 20:30, 7 days a week, with reception cover required throughout.
As this is a completely new site and service, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to be part of a brand new team within the organisation and work alongside our NCA colleagues to deliver a fantastic new service for the benefit of our patients.
You are responsible for creating ‘mini’ medical records for clinical use including EDRMS Form Pack generation, undertaking reception duties and support for patients self-checking in for appointments across a number of receptions desks across all Trust sites including satellite clinics within the community. You will also undertake the booking and scheduling of patient appointments and associated administrative duties. All activities within the Booking and Scheduling Service must comply with the Trust’s Elective and Cancer Access Policies and ensure patients are offered an appropriate choice of appointments.
