We require an individual to provide specialist evidence-based advice to the Health Intelligence Team within the Public Health Directorate. The post holder must be able to demonstrate a strong recent track record in analytical and problem solving skills, data manipulation and retrieval using large datasets and an ability to interpret and communicate complex information. You must also be:
Practical and results focused.- Flexible and adaptable to changing demands/workload.
- Willing to learn – to actively seek and digest information.
You will have gained this specialist knowledge and experience of epidemiological, analytical, and/or statistical techniques and procedures through a degree level qualification, or equivalent experience. You must be able to demonstrate additional relevant specialist knowledge acquired through training and relevant experience to postgraduate diploma level, or equivalent.
The ability to travel throughout Tayside is required for the post.
Your performance must comply with the national “Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers 2009” and with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers.
