Job description
We are currently looking for a full time Health Care Support Worker to join our dedicated team on our busy gastro ward.
This will be a challenging and exciting opportunity and will enable the individual to develop new and existing skills.
Assist in providing care to patients, in support of and supervised by Registered Nurses. Carry out assigned duties, which maintain hygiene orderliness and safety of the ward.
The overriding purpose is to support the provision of the highest quality patient care through personal actions and continuous improvement.
You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to ensure outstanding patient care. It will involve a mixture of both day shifts and night shifts to meet our staffing needs.
Ward 22 is a gastroenterology specialist ward where patients are treated for a variety of acute conditions.
Ward 22 is a modern 24 bedded clinical area with en-suite facilities for 12 single room areas
We have a well-established medical team which we work with daily and ward based multidisciplinary staff to provide the patients with patient centred care.
