Job description
The shift pattern for this position is Rotational 12 hours, 7.5 hours and twilight.
Main duties/responsibilities
As part of a multi-disciplinary team the post holder will provide care to patients in support of the trained Nurse and will regularly work unsupervised.
o Provide practical support to the unit adhering to standards set at local level
o Competently perform the necessary technical/invasive/physical aspects of care for this defined patient group.
o Ensure the effective delivery of nursing care is provided to patients and that an acceptable standard is maintained
o Provide, through NHSGG&C policies, a safe environment for the treatment of patients and protection of staff
o Participate in Practice Development Programmes as required.
