Job description
We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic Healthcare Support Worker to join our busy Day Surgery Ward looking after patients undergoing procedures within our brand new Day Case Theatre at the Day Surgery Unit at Singleton Theatres. Working as part of a team, the role requires a flexible approach to work with the ability to communicate and work well with the wider multidisciplinary team. We have various hours available to accommodate full-time or part-time working. Singleton Hospital is working towards becoming a Centre of Excellence for Elective Surgery for Swansea Bay Health Board, so this is an exciting time to join our service and be part of a fantastic Theatre team.
The Day Surgery Unit Service comprises of three-day case theatres and we operate Monday to Friday between 7:30-6pm providing a regional Plastic & Orthopaedic Hand Trauma service along with elective Ophthalmology service. Our patients undergo procedures under local, regional and general anaesthesia.
