Job description
The post holder will work at all times under the delegation of a registered practitioner in the delivery of person centred care.
The post holder will be responsible for following care plans and recording all personally generated observations and documenting care given in individual’s notes.
The post holder will assist in the delivery of therapeutic interventions and activities to enhance the patient’s rehabilitation and recovery and discharge pathway.
The post holder will be expected to undertake flexible working hours, inclusive of unsocial hours and weekends.
The Step-down service is seeking to appoint a person-centred, motivated and skilled individual to the role of Health Care Support Worker to support the in-patient mental health service. The role will involve both autonomous and team working within a multi- disciplinary team.
The post holder will work under the supervision of the Ward Manager and is expected to provide support and response across the service to meet patient need and clinical demands.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
