Care-a-lot Limited provides domiciliary care to individuals so they can maintain their independence and stay in their homes as long as possible. We're looking for compassionate individuals to join our team and help provide quality care in & around the Staffordshire area.
As a Care Professional, you'll assist clients in their daily activities, including personal care, and medication management with respect and dignity. You may also help with cooking, housekeeping, shopping and leisure activities.
Candidates must be enthusiastic, flexible, reliable, compassionate, dedicated and wanting to make a difference for our clients. The role can be challenging but is equally rewarding due to the varied needs of individual customers we support. Experience within the care sector is an advantage but is not a necessity as we offer full comprehensive training. What is more important is that you hold our Care-a-lot values and confidence we equip you with to care for our clients.
Key responsibilities:
* Monitor, record & report client health and wellbeing as well as any relevant internal or external changes.
* Understand and act upon any safeguarding concerns.
* Support clients with daily life skills (including budgeting, meal preparation, exercise etc) and empowering them to make a positive contribution to society.
About You:
We are looking for candidates who are honest, caring, dedicated, and flexible and work on a rota basis to include bank holidays, weekends, and sleep- ins. In addition, we are looking for passionate and motivated staff to support our service users in all areas of their everyday lives in a person-centred way possessing the following:
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Experience of working within a care environment
* Effectively working in partnership with external agencies for the benefit of customers
* Provide high quality and dignified personal care for customers
* To be fully aware of lone working effectively and safely
* Good numerical and literacy skills
