Benefits:
Receive salary of up to £9.5 - £11 per hour depending on experience.
Key requirements
- We have day and night shifts available which will include alternative weekend works.
- Minimum of 1 years or 6 months experience in a care of the elderly role.
- Provide an Enhanced DBS and be fully vaccinated or have evidence of medical exemption.
- NVQ in Health Care Level 1, 2, 3 or Care Certificate
- Excellent interpersonal skills who is friendly, flexible and adaptable in your approach.
- The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
The Healthcare Assistant will work under direct or indirect supervision of nursing staff, ensuring overall care and safety to the patient.
Job Responsibilities
- You will be required to deliver a high quality of care to residents in a compassionate and respectful manner.
- You will be required to comply with all regulatory requirements for delivery of care, health and safety.
- You will be expected to report and communicate effectively ensuring essential information is recorded and relayed appropriately.
- Maintain a safe care environment by minimizing risk and applying the principles of safe movement and handling of patients and moving of equipment.
- You will be involved in patients’ care, support and assist with the activities of daily living, work with the Pharmacy Team to help them fulfill their daily tasks and you will be encouraged to take the lead on well-being promotion clinics.
