About the role and our team
We are seeking hardworking and committed Health Care Assistants to join our supportive team within Mental Health Services at Manannan Court!
Within this role, you will provide comprehensive, high quality care to people of all ages who are experiencing psychological distress or mental health disorders.
Day to day you will be assisting and supporting patients and the nursing staff with various tasks and duties to promote a positive culture and therapeutic environment. You will also contribute in the recovery and rehabilitation programmes for patients within impatient and community settings.
Manannan Court is a service for people who are experiencing a relapse or crisis of their mental health and wellbeing and who require an inpatient admission. With your support, our service users will receive the treatment and care they need to help them recover as quickly as possible.

What can this role offer me?
This role offers the opportunity to develop your skills, knowledge and experience working within a team and supporting people with mental health disorders.
You will also be given support to obtain the QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care, as well as have the use of in-house training and the Government’s Learning and Education Centre (LEaD).
You will receive enhanced pay for working unsocial hours including nights and weekends.
