This role is full time working Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm.We are NHS Professionals (NHSP), working together to care for patients in the NHS. Surrey is also home to famous venues such as Epsom Downs racecourse, Chessington World of Adventures and Thorpe ParkWhat you’ll be responsible for· Physical monitoring of service users including: Weight, Height, Blood pressure, pulse, temperatures, Blood sugars within a physical health clinic· Introducing regular and emergency ECG monitoring and supporting phlebotomy· The accurate feedback of observations to the service user and the clinical teams supporting them.· To act as an advocate and ensure that there is proper regard for peoples’ dignity, choice, self-esteem, racial, cultural, sexual and religious needs and preferences.The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.You’ll have the following qualification/experience:· A minimum of 6 months experience of working as a Senior Care Support Worker in a UK hospital environment with either a Care Certificate or NVQ Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care in the last 2 years OR· 12 months experience of working as a Care Support Worker in a UK hospital environment in the last 3 years.· Specific mental health or eating disorder experience is essential.· Undertake regular mandatory training**Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.Who are NHS Professionals?We specialise in putting people in places to care.
