Job description
This position is for an experienced Healthcare Assistant who is passionate about providing excellent care and service to patients. The successful applicant will be responsible for cleaning, monitoring and maintaining the cleanliness of a hospital ward. We're looking for an individual who truly enjoys caring for people, and has a passion for providing the highest level of care to patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist medical personnel with the diagnosis and treatment of patients through the administration of medication, treatment of wounds and other injuries, and monitoring vital signs.
- Dispense medication to patients as prescribed by a physician.
- Explain patient's treatments to the patient's family or caretaker.
- Clean and sterilize instruments and equipment used to perform patient examinations.
- Assist the doctor during examinations and procedures.
- Monitor vital signs during procedures.
- Assist patients with daily activities such as eating, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Handle laboratory samples according to protocol.
- Deliver supplies and equipment to exam rooms.

Salary: £10.50-£11.50 per hour
