Our organisation is seeking a Healthcare Assistant for our Care Home Clients. We are looking for someone who is cheerful, friendly and compassionate. We are looking for somebody who desires to work in a team-oriented environment, demonstrate initiative and be willing to roll up his or her sleeves to help out wherever necessary. The Healthcare Assistant will be assisting patients with basic activities of daily living, and will also be involved in administrative duties such as filing and maintaining patient charts.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with senior and other personnel to ensure resident care is carried out as per protocol
- Perform general cleaning duties such as dusting, vacuuming, washing, and mopping
- Carry out general duties in line with care home's requirement
- Establish professional relationships with clients, using clear and appropriate communication, to meet clients identified needs, respecting their choices and maintaining their privacy, dignity and independence at all times
- Liaise with colleagues, internal and external agencies to promote and ensure partnership working to help clients access the support and assistance required in accordance with their care and support plan
- Support and empower clients, and their families when required, to express their wishes and concerns appropriately and effectively
- Promote safe practices and carry out effective care and support procedures in accordance with relevant regulations, policies and procedures

Part-time hours: 20 per week
Salary: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
