The Avenue Nursing Home provides exceptional care in beautiful residential settings in a purpose built family run nursing home in the Clayton Area of Bradford. The Avenue Nursing Home is a bespoke, 64 bed luxury care Home and is state of the art where the highest levels of personalised care is standard. We offer nursing and residential care in addition to provision for adults with dementia care needs.
As we are growing we are looking for Day Care Assistants to join our team, providing quality care to our residents. Shift time 07.30-20.00 or 19.30-08.00 including weekends and bank holidays as per rota.
Purpose of the position
To provide a high standard of resident care in the home during the Day, promoting dignity, privacy, choice, the rights of the individual with a person centered ethos.
To ensure the personal needs of the residents are met physically, emotionally and spiritually.
To ensure adequate nutritional and hydration needs are met assisting and offering choice to all our residents.
Requirements for Care Assistant role:
· More than 1 years experience working in a care home environment as a care assistant is essential
· You MUST be able to demonstrate that you have the skills and experience to perform well in this role.
· To possess good manners and a flexible approach
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 36 per week
Salary: £9.50 per hour
