STU will be moving to new build ( GMMTH ) from October /November 23.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Health Care Assistant's with extended skills i.e venpuncture , cannulation , ECG and who wants to work in an acute and diverse environment.
You will be enthusiastic, motivated and reliable and possess good communication skills and be able to work as part of a large team.
We strive to provide a high quality service that is safe, clean and personal to our patients.
You will need to possess an NVQ level 3, apprenticeship qualification or equivalent, or be currently working towards completion and have experience in healthcare in any of the following fields: General Surgery, urology & gynae.
You will be required to perform a wide range of duties and clerical tasks including venepuncture, cannulation, wound care, clinical observations and ECG recordings. You will also be trained in wound care management.
You will be required to be flexible - shifts patterns consist of Early, Late , LLD 3 - 23:30 , Long days, LLD 11 - 23:30 and nights.
