Job Description: Healthcare Assistant

Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care and support
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Help patients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety
- Monitor and document patient symptoms or changes in condition
- Administer medication under the supervision of a nurse or physician
- Prepare and maintain patient rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization
- Assist with medical procedures, such as wound care or specimen collection
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families

Experience:
- Previous experience as a healthcare assistant or similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with infection control protocols and safety measures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Part-time hours: 48 per week

Salary: £11.00-£12.00 per hour
