The Sunrise Recruitment is looking for people to provide person-centered care to service users in residential and cares homes throughout London, Slough, High Wycombe, Maidenhead, Reading, Liverpool, Leeds, Bath, and Bristol.
The right candidates will receive extensive in-house training /Online training to provide our clients with the highest level of personal care and support.
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will assist our service users with personal care and daily activities. Assisting with the promotion of self-sufficiency.
To work with us, you must meet the following minimum requirements as a Healthcare Assistant
- Must have the right to work in the UK
- Good standard of English, verbally and written
- A warm, compassionate, nurturing, and caring nature
- Ability to work with understanding, tact, and patience
- Full vaccination against Covid-19
Healthcare Assistant duties and responsibilities
Healthcare Assistants must be well versed in a number of care and medical techniques. They must be informed about the most recent care techniques available and always be looking for ways to improve their skills and knowledge. Some common duties and responsibilities include:
Assisting with daily living activities such as eating, showering and using the toilet.
Utilising equipment to move patients when necessary Helping tidy the patient’s home or room.
Taking the patient’s vital signs such as blood pressure and temperature.
Talking to patients and reassuring them Attending meetings with other healthcare professionals
Assisting nurses and other staff when needed
Adhering to professional standards
Delivering reports to Case Managers and reviewing any important changes in the patient’s condition
