Responsibilities:NHS Health Checks & new patient health checksECG recordingPhlebotomyUrinalysis and specimen processingChaperoning dutiesBlood pressure recordingB12, Flu, Pneumococcal, Shingles & COVID vaccinationsDiabetes checks including foot checksPre-diabetes and diet/lifestyle adviceHypertension reviewsFridge checksDefib and emergency equipment checksQOF workVaccine/cold chain storage, monitoring and recording.Re-stocking consulting roomsPreparing and maintaining environments and equipment before, during and after patient care interventions, including assisting GPs during the performance of minor surgeryAssisting healthcare professionals in providing care to patients- Taking and recording vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature- Collecting specimens for laboratory testing- Administering medications under the supervision of a nurse or physician- Monitoring patients' condition and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patientsSkills:Effective communication skills.Ability to work efficiently and effectively as a team and a team playerPhlebotomyBlood PressureECG'sWound careVaccinations including flu and B12- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals- Compassion and empathy towards patients' needs and concerns- Strong attention to detail to accurately record information and follow instructions- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other healthcare professionalsNote: Additional requirements or qualifications may vary depending on the specific healthcare setting or employer.
