Amberstone ward is looking for a positive, resilient, compassionate, enthusiastic Band 2 Nursing Assistant with a passion for working in rehabilitation in a person-centred way to support our patients with their recovery.
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a key member of a multi-disciplinary team. We would welcome applicants from those who are motivated and dynamic in their work, supporting the team to provide an environment to work towards patient's recovery.

Work with the multi-disciplinary team to establish and deliver a therapeutic programme of care for clients.

Amberstone hospital is a 28 bed Inpatient Recovery and Rehabilitation unit, situated in rural East Sussex and provides rehabilitation for adults who are recovering from serious mental illness. We believe in providing outstanding quality, safe and effective care and treatment that everyone can be proud of. The focus is to enable people to reach their full potential and achieve a smooth transition into the community. The ward works closely with Community Rehabilitation colleagues as an integral part of the award winning East Sussex Rehabilitation Pathway.
You will be working to support a Multi Disciplinary Team within an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Working towards patients goals and independence.
You will abide by the standards of behaviour expected by their professional body and the standards of behaviour expected of all staff in the Trust disciplinary policy and procedure. Adhere to all Trust policies and procedures and are responsible for making themselves aware of these policies and procedures.
