Job description
Smart Medical Staffing LTD, are seeking a friendly and compassionate healthcare assistant to join our team in the Hospital and Health Care industry. As a healthcare assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the quality of care for patients. You will be responsible for assisting healthcare professionals in providing treatment and comfort to patients in a safe and comfortable environment. You will work closely with the medical team, patients, and visitors in delivering excellent healthcare services.
Responsibilities
· Assisting healthcare professionals in providing patient care
· Helping patients with activities of daily living, such as feeding, bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming
· Taking vital signs and recording patient’s information in medical records
· Cleaning and maintaining equipment and facilities to ensure a safe and sterile environment
· Escorting patients to appointments or procedures
· Communicating with patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals in a friendly and respectful manner
· Assisting with administrative tasks, such as filing, answering phones, and scheduling appointments
Requirements
· Candidate should be living in UK and has the right to work in UK
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Experience in healthcare or caring for others preferred
· Certification or training as a healthcare assistant is desirable
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills
· Friendly and patient personality
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 30 per week
Salary: £12.50-£20.00 per hour
