We are currently hiring for a HCA for shifts 1:1 Thursday-Sunday with a lovely family in the Cheltenham area. The property has a self contained annex, in Cheltenham, which is accessible for you to utilise as a 'staff room' as well as a stay over option should you require this.
The right carer will have experience in all areas of personal care. Carers will preferably have experience in; spinal chord injury, Supra pubic catheter care, peristine system, medication administration, chest monitoring, meal preparation and monitoring although training can be provided.
It is essential to be a driver due to the location (Cheltenham) and also there is an open driver policy on the clients adapted vehicle, helping the client access activities and the community. On weekends the family sometimes take trips away and accommodation is provided to assist on these trips.
Currently the client is working from home with an aim to access the office again, carers would then be required in their workplace.

Requirements
- MINIMUM of 1 months UK Healthcare experience
- MUST be hardworking and adaptable by responding quickly to changes
- MUST be passionate about high quality individual and teamwork
- MUST have a current DBS (inside a year or on the update service)
- Must have British citizenship.
- Must be a driver.
- Experience with spinal cord injuries and bowel care is preferred.
- Be prepared to assist on weekend activities; bike rides, accessing the community
and trips away (accommodation provided).
