Exciting opportunity to join our Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit as a Healthcare Assistant.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, the post holder will carry out routine personal care/assist with routine examination duties for patients, in support of (and supervised by), a registered nurse/clinician. The post holder will ensure a person centred approach to care delivery which is safe and effective to ensure and maintain quality strategy.
You must have knowledge of personal care and related procedures or previous volunteer or work experience in a health, education or social environment and will be willing to undertake on the job training and induction and undertake mandatory HCSW standards/
You must be able to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team and have effective written and verbal communication skills coupled with a working knowledge of basic information technology.
The post holder will carry out assigned duties to maintain hygiene, order and safety within the ward/department environment.
