Reporting to the Outpatient and Pre-Assessment Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high standard of patient care, as well as supporting our team of nurses and practitioners.
About the role:
- Assist in the provision of care to patients, supporting and supervised by a registered nurse.
- General admin duties carried out in outpatients including answering the telephone, booking of appointments, accessing results and location of notes
- To support the registered nurses in the day to day running of the outpatient’s department
- To maintain appropriate records and documentation and be able to report both verbally and written
- To maintain the highest possible standards of evidence based care and to preserve the dignity and confidence of the patient at all times being aware of patient confidentiality
About you:
- Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good IT skills
- NVQ Level 1 or 2 Care Certificate is desirable, but not essential
- Knowledge of Compucare is desirable, but not essential
Location: The McIndoe Centre, East Grinstead
Working Hours: Permanent, Full-Time Hours
Salary: up to £22,284.17 (dependant on experience)
