We are looking for someone who is passionate about health care. We have a fantastic opportunity for a health care assistant to join our hard-working passionate team. This HCA role is different from others, you are there to support the clinical staff with taking bloods, observations and you will be trained in plaster and many more learnt skills will be on offer.
The role is fast paced, working across two of our hubs; our urgent care centre in Ormskirk and the walk-in centre in Skelmersdale. The role requires full time hours (37.5) with the flexibility across 7 days a week and hours of 8am to 8.30pm.
Main Responsibilities- To support and assist the clinical team in the provision of a high standard of care to our patients in an Urgent Treatment Centre eg patient present with minor illness, minor injuries, dressings, phlebotomy requirements.
- To maintain clear and comprehensive, signed and contemporaneous records according to VCL procedures.
- To be an effective member of the Multidisciplinary Team carry out assigned tasks involving direct care in the support of the clinical team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for people and helping others. It is a great opportunity for someone wanting to get involved in the clinical side of health care. Experience in this role is welcomed but not essential. You must be able to work effectively under instruction or as part of a collaborative team.
