We are looking for caring and compassionate people to join our busy and loving Nursing home. You must be hard working with a commitment to providing high standards of care to our elderly client group.
Main Responsibilities
The role of a Care Assistant at Fairholme Nursing Home would involve, but is not limited to:
- Providing personal care duties
- Manual handling, using equipment where required
- Promoting customer health and well-being, enabling them to live their life to the full
- Flexibly work a range of shift patterns including alternate weekends
- Assisting people with their meals where necessary
- Helping our on site Registered Nurses provide care and wound management.
- Ensuring the highest standards for End of life care are met
Everything we do is in the best interest of our Residents and we endeavour ensure they live happy and with the upmost dignity and respect.
Experience would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided for the right applicants.
We are looking for a full time position and for a bank hours position for days and/or nights, so you would mainly be covering shifts on the rotas when needed.
Our shift patterns are: 7am - 2pm, 2pm - 9pm, 7am-9pm or night shifts. You may be asked to cover either nights and/or days when needed and THESE HOURS ARE NON-NEGOTIABLE, So please don't apply if you can not work these hours.

Salary: £11.00-£11.50 per hour
