We are looking for experienced, high quality care staff to cover senior shifts when needed.
Experience and a can-do attitude are essential for this role. The shift pattern is 7:30am - 8pm, 8am-8pm, 8am-2pm and 2pm-8pm
We are looking for the following skill sets:
- You’re compassionate and committed with a desire to make a difference to those that you care for, in a positive and patient manner
- Have a genuine interest in working with our client group
- Ability to adapt your approach to the individual’s needs and a willingness to learn
- Good communication skills
- Be able to work flexible, 6 hour or 11.5 hour shifts that will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
- Experience in Health and Social Care is essential
- Good team working skills
The Role
- Ensure the highest quality of care is provided to our residents through their person-centered care plans to achieve and exceed potential
- Promote the right values and attitudes towards people with behaviours described as challenging
- Facilitating recreational activities of the residents choice
- Liaise with families, friends, advocates, external agencies and the management team to provide a consistent approach that meets the individual needs of each resident
- Complete records and documentation of progress, incidents and activities
- Promote and uphold the privacy, rights, dignity, health and well-being of the individuals
- General housekeeping duties
- Personal care duties
- Administer medication

- maintain relationships with other health care professionals
