Job description
Our organisation is in need of a Healthcare Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience in a healthcare environment and have a friendly, flexible, outgoing personality that is willing to work extra hours when necessary. The responsibilities of this position are many and varied, including but not limited to responding to patient emergencies, keeping the nurses informed of patients' conditions and assisting with medical screenings.
Responsibilities:
- Use medical equipment.
- Practice good hand-washing techniques.
- Practice good infection control techniques.
- Practice good food safety techniques.
- Resolve conflicts with co-workers and patients.
- Communicate with patients, co-workers and supervisors.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Monitor patient's condition and administer care as prescribed by a doctor or nurse.
- Record patient information and vital signs.
- Conform to all relevant governmental regulations.

Salary: £23,879.00-£25,105.00 per year
