We have an exciting opportunity for a Health Care Assistant to join our team.
You will work as part of the care team providing a high quality of care to the service users in their own home. Ensuring person-centred and holistic practice is maintained at all times.
We are looking for:
Previous experience working in the health care industry, in a similar role is an advantage, but bespoke training will be provided.
Kind, compassionate, empathetic and reliable
Organized, tenacious and pays attention to detail.
The ability to remain calm when working in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills both verbal and written.
Experience taking care of vulnerable adults would be desirable but not essential. We will provide training.
A full valid driving license and access to a car is essential
Key Duties will include:
- Support service users with assisted daily living tasks
- To promote dignity, independence and choice at all times
- To record accurate information on the care plans of individual service users and encourage colleagues to do the same
- Communicate effectively with the team and management regarding the care of the service users or any new information that should be shared with the team and management.
- Initiative to work alone but also a team player.
